Elevating the Club Experience: Balancing Comfort, Style, and Functionality.
To maintain its status as a destination for sports, dining, and social activities, the popular sporting club recognised the need to evolve and enhance the overall experience for members and guests. They also aimed to streamline operations and reduce overhead costs. BSPN developed a staged Master Plan to address both the club’s current and future needs.
The first stage focuses on upgrading the existing facilities, introducing a brand-new gaming room, and expanding with a large central bar which doubles up as a coffee bar and cashier. This redesign not only optimises the club’s layout by consolidating to a single service hub, but also reduces staffing and operational costs. Additionally, the underutilised existing sports bar and TAB was transformed into a ‘kids club’, which provides a family friendly venue, attracting new members.
The interior design reflects the natural beauty of the surrounding Redland Bay landscape, a region unique for its sugar cane farming. In the reception area, feature wall segments draw inspiration from the area’s sugar cane fields, while blue tones and shark-inspired motifs introduce a coastal flair.
Every material and product was thoughtfully chosen to achieve an ideal blend of comfort, style, and functionality, ensuring a space that is both visually striking and highly practical.
