Refreshing outdated facilities to deliver an exciting and engaging experience for SCTC patrons.
BSPN recently partnered with Sunshine Coast Turf Club to breathe new life into outdated facilities with the overall objective of increasing patron connectivity to the excitement happening on the race track. The project included the refurbishment of the existing function rooms, the introduction of a new stand-alone function space, a complete refurbishment of The Chairman’s Club, the introduction of a new pop-up food and beverage space adjacent to the parade ring and the installation of a new passenger lift to increase accessibility to an existing building
Combining velvet, leather and timber to create a feeling of both luxury and warmth.
The Chairman’s Club is designed to offer VIP patrons a memorable experience. The existing aging space was transformed into one offering a unique, modern and more integrated experience. This VIP lounge features full height shopfront glazing overlooking the racing track with European inspired booth seating, custom carpet and modern feature wall lighting that overall delivers a feeling of luxury, warmth and exclusivity.
The interior colour palette perfectly balances dark and light, setting the Chairman’s Club apart from all other spaces within the complex. The Lounge is serviced by its own kitchen, bar and amenities which further contribute to the creation of an exceptional experience for patrons.
BSPN envisioned an independent function space uniquely tailored to elevating patron engagement with the racing track. Aptly named “The Glasshouse,” The design concept aimed to establish a captivating venue, perfect for hosting luxurious events and providing a sense of exclusivity for patrons.
This glass-encased structure, adorned with metal shades and awnings, offers a panoramic view of the racing track, creating an entertainer’s paradise. Serving dual purposes, The Glasshouse functions as both a bar and a DJ booth, presenting itself as a private alfresco balcony for an immersive and stylish experience.
