North Lakes Sports Club, a reconfiguration of the venue into brand-new offerings including Sports Bar, Atonik Cocktail Bar, Lounge Area and new dining offer Nasi Mi.

Working within existing services and infrastructure to maintain budget, the crucial brief was zoning multiple spaces within the larger venue to create individual venue identities catering to different tastes while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic throughout.

Renovations also included minor updates to the Café area, a new Sports Deck and conversion of the existing DOSA into Alfresco Dining.

The Sports Bar was relocated away from the Restaurant, so each offering could remain busy without disrupting the other. Brick slips on the Sports Bar façade and walls provide texture and warmth to the area, while non-structural steel trusses add to the industrial vibe and fill the void after ceiling features were removed. Acoustic panelling manages the roaring sports bar sounds.

Curved joinery and metal screening define where the new Atonik cocktail bar sits within the venue. Tasteful privacy screening means the offering can open to more intimate private events. Existing structural columns were concealed to create feature lighting for the venue.
