Constrained by the retained lower ground floor of the existing building and its existing structural limitations, the design, art and technology precinct required a creative approach. The podium level was reimagined to replace a single storey with two levels of facilities, doubling the capacity of programmed spaces. 

Internalising circulation allows these areas to double as gallery spaces for secure display of permanent artwork supported by an environment of natural light and ventilation.
