The City of Melbourne has announced plans to re-invigorate Melbourne’s restaurant scene by expanding outdoor dining experiences as part of it's Covid-Safe Dining Activation Plan, giving Melbournite’s a breath of fresh air.

Within the Covid-19 context many places worldwide are moving towards the greater use of outdoor areas to create spaces for dining and socialising. These spaces include footpaths, nature strips, urban parks, street parking (parklets), and roof tops.
